Bio

I'm a mechanical engineer living near Albany New York where I spend my days bemusing the engineering community at large by consulting, troubleshooting and teaching software. Prior to my present gig, I taught mechanical engineering stuff at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (until they finally wised up) and before that I worked at IBM where I figured out how to cool computers.

I keep amused with a family that includes a lovely wife, 3 boys and an ancient cat. We are big into cruising and I am big into making my boys do all the yard work.

I am a very large Harry Potter fan and I keep myself amused by helping out by proofing PotterCast episodes.
